EG-IX - An Internet Exchange for Elk Grove, California
More coming to this website as we talk about our new Internet Exchange.
The area of Elk Grove, Sacramento, Arden, Arcade, and Roseville will be served by this new IX.
This is far enough away from the Bay Area to be best served by its own IX. Localizing traffic helps shave milliseconds off IP connections.

Hopefully this will fill up quickly:
- The domains and email are done. We have a logo!
- The peeringdb records are trying to be setup.
- The hardware is ready to be powered on.
- There is software (from Ixpmanager) nearly working.
